I am an experienced local government lawyer, who has for most of his career, worked in Wiltshire. I have over the past 20 years seen the county develop and grow. My experience in the public sector will I believe, allow me to bring insight to the work already being undertaken by Carer Support Wiltshire. I have a strong strategic outlook with an appreciation of the practical steps needed to bring a project to fruition. I have also been a carer, appreciating the pressures of holding down a full-time job whilst juggling ever competing demands. I have a keen interest in local community issues and impact that change invariably brings. I have held voluntary roles with Wiltshire Police and United Communities Housing Association during my career. I enjoy taking an active part in my local community and contributing wherever possible. I have young two children, and we as a family enjoy long country walks. We also enjoy exploring National Trust sites and the various white horses scattered across the county. I am a keen cook and enjoy experimenting with food.
