Young Carer Coordinator
Vacancy: Young Carer Coordinator
Location: Dorset
Salary: £24,982 – £25,991
Hours: 37 hours a week including occasional weekend/evening
Benefits: 28 days’ holiday in addition to bank holidays, 5% employer contribution to pension, free annual eye tests.
About this role: You will work with colleagues and volunteers to promote awareness of young carers. In addition to this, you will work in partnership with the Dorset Council Young Carers Team, Family Partnership Zones and other services to increase the offer to young carers across Dorset.
Your role will include developing links within the community. There will be opportunities to develop other areas of work, such as facilitating group support sessions (both face to face and virtual) and working with young carers by developing a Young Carers Forum.
This post will be based in our office in Ferndown for at least part of the week.

Role: Fundraising and Events Intern
Responsible to: Head of Fundraising and Partnerships
Based at: Hybrid – Preferably a minimum of 1 day per week in the office based in Semington near Trowbridge

Hospital team manager
In this role you would be responsible for setting up and managing our new hospital liaison service across Wiltshire. You would ensure the service is fully co-ordinating with relevant hospital services, including the Flowhub, with Adult Social Care teams, and with in-house and other external carers services and partners. You would be responsible for managing our three hospital support workers and three hospital liaison workers.
- 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
- £28,672 – £ 31,659 depending upon experience
- 12 months with possible extension

In this role you would be registering, assessing, providing information, triaging and allocating / prioritising further casework (if required) for carers and cared for in, or recently discharged from hospital, as well as carers and cared for at risk of going into hospital. The three roles will be based in South, West and North East of the county. All three roles are full-time.

In this role you’d be liaising with health and social care professionals to identify and support carers who are, or who’s cared for are in hospitals across Wiltshire. The three roles will be based in South, West and North East of the county. The position in the South is a full-time role; the other two are part-time.
- Full time – 37 hours per week Monday to Friday; Part-time 18.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Community Engagement Worker
This role will be to ensure unpaid carers of all ages within the community are provided with the right information, advice and support at the right time. Work in designated local area using an asset-based model, to deliver service in partnership with statutory, voluntary, and community-based organisations and volunteers, including the public.
