Face-to-face Falls Prevention
10 December 1pm-3pm at Shaftesbury Trinity Centre Trust, Shaftesbury.
We have Falls Prevention training with Younger4Longer where you will learn safe and effective, evidence-based exercises and procedures.
The part about helping people get up from the floor safely does not involve any manual handling, it’s simply learning how to instruct or advise a person as to how they can try to get themselves up, step by step.
No participant would be made to do anything, they could just watch if preferred and for the exercises we always provide easy alternatives.
Given recent changes in Government guidance we ask carers to where a mask unless they are exempt.
