Are you caring for someone who is struggling with mental health or substance use? You’re not alone.
EDAS, a charity that supports anyone with any addiction issues and/or are experiencing mental distress throughout the UK, are seeing a worrying rise in ketamine use and other drugs/alcohol across Dorset – especially among young people. This new group offers a safe, supportive space for parents and carers who may be concerned, confused, or overwhelmed. A confidential, welcoming space for those in the Dorset and BCP Council areas.

This group is for you if you are supporting someone who uses substances like ketamine or other drugs or alcohol, are worried about your child or loved one’s mental health or behaviour, if you are feeling isolated or unsure where to turn, or are seeking understanding, strategies, and support.
You can expect peer connection and emotional support, information on emerging drug trends and harm reduction, guidance on looking after your own wellbeing, and a non-judgmental space to talk and be heard.
