Mark your calendars and join Carer Support Dorset for Carers Rights Day 2023!

This day aims to raise awareness about the rights and needs of carers in our community. Happening throughout the week of November 20th, we have a range of exciting activities and support sessions lined up for you.

  • Monday, November 20: Join our regular drop-in session at Bridport Library, where you can meet our team, learn more about the services we offer, and access advice and guidance tailored to your caring situation.
  • Wednesday, November 22: We’re teaming up with Mid-Dorset PCN for another drop-in event at Dorchester Library. Come along, say hello, and find out how we can support you as a carer.
  • Thursday, November 23: On this day, you can find us at the PramaLife CRD event in Wimborne. Meet us there and discover the various resources available to carers in the area.

We also have two virtual training courses that you can access from the comfort of your own home both on the 23 November. Learn about ‘Tax, Care & Family Affairs’ from the experts at Co-Op Estate Planning, as well as ‘First Aid’ from the renowned British Red Cross. To sign on to these courses you can either call us on 0800 368 8349 or email admin@carersupportdorset.co.uk.

Remember, Carers Rights Day is all about you, so come and celebrate with us, meet fellow carers, and discover the valuable support available to you. For more information and details on how to participate, please visit our What’s On page (https://www.carersupportdorset.co.uk/whats-on/) or contact our friendly team. We can’t wait to see you there!
