Since graduating in Psychology back in 2018, I have devoted my time to working with carers through voluntary work, research studies, as well as within job roles in NHS and Social Care. I have witnessed first-hand the reality of having a caregiving responsibility, particularly those caring for loved ones with dementia. As a result, I have come to recognise the importance of charitable organisations, such as Carer Support Dorset, in allowing carers and their loved ones to not only maintain their dignity, but most importantly their sense of self and individuality. In my spare time, I love to travel and go on walks with my gorgeous (yet mischievous!) Border Collie called Jesse.
